power of words

If you’ve known me for any amount of time you probably know I like talking about vision. It’s something I’m passionate about. I dream about it. I can’t sleep because of it. I love casting vision and I love listening to other communicators cast great, God-honoring, compelling visions.

When I first got into ministry I had this mindset when it came to vision that was sort of like, “As long as I can say what I want to say in general terms everyone will get it.”

I’m realizing more and more that’s not the case.

No matter how great your vision is, no matter how compelling it is to you, no matter how urgent the need is in the world, a vision will live or die based on the words used to convey it.
