So, I’ve been wanting to do this for some time but I have just never got around to it. I’m gonna start recapping on Thursday morning what happened with our student ministries the night before. I thought this would be a good way to inform some of you parents about what is taking place at church. Also, if your in youth ministry I thought it might be helpful to see what we are doing and maybe we could share ideas or suggestions on improving each other’s ministries.

So last night:

Worship: Nathan and Micah did amazing! These two guys never cease to amaze me! We mixed it up a little (to keep the students on their toes) and we did worship at the end of the sermon. It was incredible. I don’t know if there is any possible way they could have picked any better songs to close out the night.

Message: Umm… let’s just say I was tired because I had pulled an all nighter from school. (Yeah I know… should have got it done sooner!)

Response: Amazing! Our prayer closet only holds about 5 people if they are packed and it was definitely packed most of worship.

Funny/Interesting Story: I can’t remember anything… because I was so tired.

Overall the night was good. We’re in the middle of a series titled “Storyline” in which we are looking at several parables that Jesus told and how we can see ourselves in the storyline of them. It’s been a fun series to preach on but I’m not sure how good of a series it has been for the students. I guess it’s one of those things that I’m still learning.
